We are pleased to announce that the Verimpact Team is supporting the co-organizers of the upcoming Cyprus EU Presidency Ocean Conference, titled “Riding the Wave: Advancing the EU Ocean Pact through Science, Innovation and Cooperation”, which will take place on 11–12 May 2026 in Cyprus, as an official event of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
This high-level conference aims to place ocean innovation and investment at the forefront of Europe’s strategic agenda. The event will convene key stakeholders from science, policy, industry, and finance to accelerate the journey from research to real-world application.
In addition to the plenary sessions, the conference will feature two dedicated spaces designed to foster visibility, collaboration, and market uptake:
- Exhibition Area: Showcasing EU-funded projects, initiatives, and innovation platforms
- Blue Tech Demonstration Area: Featuring live demonstrations of ocean technologies and solutions, enabling direct engagement with investors, policymakers, and end-users
