On 26 April 2023, Verimpact, Pi Foundation and the EPLO Institute for Sustainable Development organized an exclusive discussion on sustainable development and circularity at the Pi Foundation premises in Delphi.
The discussion was attended by a diverse group of twenty professionals, including the Mayor of Delphi, the Honorable Bogolo Kenewendo, Stavros Siokos, Managing Partner at ASTARTE CAPITAL PARTNERS, Elisabet Lipiatou from the European Commission, and Angeliki Kosmopoulou, Executive Director at ACL Charitable Foundation.
The event began with a firechat conversation between Spyros Kouvelis, Director of the EPLO Institute for Sustainable Development, and Athanassios Polychronopoulos, Founder of Pi Foundation (the Global Center for Circular Economy and Culture). The discussion then opened up to cover topics such as sustainability and circular economy, particularly in emerging countries in Africa. The importance of ESG integration was also discussed, as well as the work undertaken in this field by Verimpact, the ESG assessment and training firm.
The participants were able to exchange their viewpoints, experiences, and insights on sustainable development and the circular economy. The discussion was fruitful and thought-provoking, paving the way for a more sustainable future.
