We were proud to see our CEO, Christina Deligianni, contribute to two high-level discussions at the International Energy Forum (IEF) in Riyadh last week, bringing Verimpact’s perspective on AI-enabled sustainability intelligence, data transparency, and non-financial risk management to the global energy community.

1. IEF Dialogue on Energy Markets & Data Transparency

Christina highlighted the growing need for reliable, consistent, and interoperable energy and sustainability data. She emphasized how fragmented reporting frameworks increase uncertainty for investors and policymakers, and how AI-enabled platforms — like Verimpact — can help harmonize data, automate assurance, and transform raw reporting into strategic insights for decision-makers.

2. IEF Roundtable on Building Carbon Management & Hydrogen Markets

In this session, Christina focused on the role of standardized MRV, digital infrastructure, and policy alignment in accelerating investment for CCUS and hydrogen.

Key points included:

  • The importance of harmonized market and regulatory data to strengthen investor confidence.
  • Addressing critical data gaps in lifecycle emissions, infrastructure visibility, and project-level transparency.
  • The potential for IEF, JODI, and partners to build a trusted, global ecosystem for sustainability data — mirroring their leadership in energy market transparency.

She also shared how Verimpact’s AI-enabled platform supports governments, investors, and companies in managing non-financial risks, aligning with CSRD/ESRS, IFRS S2, and emerging MRV schemes, and converting sustainability obligations into actionable intelligence.

We are honoured to contribute to the global dialogue shaping the future of transparent, investable, and resilient energy markets.
