1. Background
Verimpact is a leading provider sustainability transition services including data analytics and management of Non-Financial Risks and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) assessment and reporting, committed to helping organizations navigate and excel in their sustainability journeys. As we continue to grow, the need for strategic marketing and brand building has become critical to amplify our message and strengthen our market presence.
2. Objective
The primary objective of this position is to increase the visibility of Verimpact and its tools and services, thus driving sales, generating leads, and increasing market share through campaigns, customer outreach, and market analysis. The successful candidate will play a central role in enhancing Verimpact's brand visibility and reputation by developing and executing marketing strategies that resonate with our target audience, including clients, partners, and stakeholders. He/She will be responsible for proposing to the management team and executing ipon their approval all necessary activities for promoting and managing Verimpact’s brand image, curating content, and increasing engagement across various communication channels.
3. Scope of Work
The Marketing and Brand Building Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks:
Campaign Planning and Execution:
Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote Verimpact’s services.
Focus on measurable objectives like lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention.
Content Development:
Create and curate high-quality content for Verimpact's website, blog, social media channels, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
Develop case studies, white papers, and press releases that highlight Verimpact's achievements and industry insights.
Social Media Management:
Manage and grow Verimpact's presence on social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and others relevant to our audience.
Develop a content calendar and schedule posts to ensure consistent engagement.
Monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize content and strategies.
Brand Strategy:
Assist in the development and implementation of Verimpact's brand strategy.
Ensure that all communications and marketing materials align with the brand's voice and values.
Collaborate with the team to refine the brand identity as necessary.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Identify opportunities for media coverage and partnerships to enhance Verimpact's visibility.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media contacts, industry influencers, and partners.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct research on industry trends and competitors to inform marketing strategies.
Conduct competitor analysis, market segmentation, and customer persona development.
Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to enhance brand positioning.
Event Support:
Play a central role in planning and promoting webinars, conferences, and other events that Verimpact participates in or organizes.
Create promotional materials and manage events.
5. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, the Humanities or a related field.
Master's Degree or certification in a related area (e.g., Digital Marketing, Brand Strategy, or Environmental Services) is a plus.
At least 5 years of experience in communications, brand management, or a related role.
Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills in Greek and English.
Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and CRM platforms, tools like Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEO/SEM strategies, and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot).
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics.
Strong skills in creating high-quality written, visual, and video content, including tools such as Canva, Wix, WordPress.
Experience with ESG, sustainability or environmental services is highly desirable.
6. Duration and Compensation
The role is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be home based, with possibility to meet in the company seat or other facilities within a week’s notice, and travel from time to time in Greece, Europe and other destinations as needed.
The candidate is expected to have his/her own laptop.
Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
